Meet George Worthington, JABA’s Coordinator of Memory Care

Late last year, a nearly $1 million federal grant to the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services launched a pilot project between University of Virginia and JABA to establish a coordinated care system for persons with dementia and their caregivers. A short time later George Worthington became JABA’s Coordinator of Memory Care, helping to spearhead this vital collaboration with the UVA’s Memory and Aging Care Clinic to improve the quality of dementia care in Virginia.

Meet JABA’s New CFO - Larry Paxton

This past September Larry Paxton joined JABA as the Chief Financial Officer. He replaced Leonard Lohman, who had served JABA for 21 years and Mountainside Senior Living since it had become part of the JABA family. Larry comes to us with 30 years of finance and computer systems expertise, including 17 years’ experience as a chief financial officer. He will be relocating from the Shenandoah Valley. When asked his initial impressions of the area, Larry responded; “I have new impressions.
