Cool-Aid: JABA Provides air conditioners

JABA’s Cool-Aid Program provides window A/Cs, fans, and electric bill assistance to applicants who meet the following criteria:

• Have a household income of 1.5 times the federal poverty level or less
• Live in Albemarle, Charlottesville, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa or Nelson
• Are 60 years or older
• Applicants who are disabled or severely ill of any age may qualify with a doctor's prescription stating air conditioning would benefit their health.

How you can help

Please call the JABA at (434) 817-5222 if you would like to contribute a donation to support Cool-Aid. We rely on donations from to public for this program, so please consider making a contribution if you can afford it. Also, if you prefer you can donate an new air conditioner or fan to the Cool-Aid Program. Tax-deductible contributions may be sent to:
