Purchasing Specialist

JABA is seeking a part-time Purchasing Specialist. The incumbent will be responsible for purchasing for JABA and all of the outlying centers. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. An extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and accounting principles is required. Must have the ability to work both independently and as a team, communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, and represent the organization professionally when dealing with employees and vendors. Activities Specialist at Fluvanna

JABA's Community Center at Fluvanna is looking for an Activity Assistant, who will be working on a part time basis (12 hrs/ week). The candidate will be responsible for seniors’ activities, social/congregate meal program, and client-centered program for adults with physical disabilities and/or dementia. The incumbent must have knowledge and experience with elderly. He/ She must be organized and must be a strong communicator. He/ She should have good people skills a must!
